Over the years, I can safely say that Bergland has become one of our favourite venues to work at, not only because of the classiness they bring to every wedding, but also because they seem to attract a type of clientele that are just our kind people, and I can think of no better, recent, example of this than Junré and Melandie.
Junré and Melandie is the type of couple that you see in photos and you just like them instantly, there's a warmth to them that for many don't necessarily translate to visual mediums, but for these two, it all just comes naturally. Their team had consisted of Jessica, Morne and Simone; I guess I can tell the couple this now that their photos and videos have been long delivered, but Jessica and Simone had actually run into some trouble while driving home from their wedding to such a degree that Morne had to turn around in the opposite direction to help save the situation, a stressful situation, right? Based on their demeanor after dropping off the materials later that night, you'd never think so, and that's the power of a truly kind couple like these two, making the day so special for not only themselves and their guests, but even enough so for their vendors that a dangerous situation wasn't enough to dampen their spirits.
But what about the wedding itself, you're probably wondering; their wedding was coordinated by Bergland's own Danelle, the lady who without question put Bergland on the map with her various skills and natural flare for anything and all things elegant. In this case her skills had also extended to doing both the decor and floral arrangements, going for a simple and stylish white and coral theme.
Melandie's makeup had been done exquisitely by Nevaeh, from Nevaeh Professional Make-up and Hair, who went for a darker look to highlight her soft features. Her hair was done to equal perfection by itsmyheyday, and her gorgeous wedding gown was supplied by LENA LISA.
Junré wore a dark navy suit by Tailored 4 U that perfectly matched the softness and style of his bride-to-be.
To end this post off, the wedding of Junré and Melandie came about 3 and a half years after we captured the wedding of Junre's sister, Lozé when she married her lovely partner Francois, and just like their wedding day, this day was simple yet classy, and that's exactly what I'll say about this couple, they are both down-to-earth people that brings a great amount of class to any room they're in, and their wedding showcased that trait to absolute perfection.
